Do you love traveling to new places which are not explored? Most of the travelers have this natural instinct in them to venture new regions and locations which are not explored yet or which have been less explored. Such locations are very few in the world but there are some places that are not counted very high on tourism scale but they still have a lot of places which we can visit. The Republic of Estonia is one such place that you will find in Northern Europe and which is very close to Russia and Latvia.

Since Estonia is not a big country you will not find many places where you can move around. Hence, the best way to trip around Estonia is to visit the main cities of Estonia like Tallinn, Tartu and Narva. These cities cover most of the destinations and places that you should see when you are in Estonia. You can begin your journey in Estonia from Tallinn which is the biggest city in Estonia and therefore it is also the capital city. On the map, Tallinn is very much on the north of Estonia and is a coastal city that faces the Gulf of Finland. The architecture here is of the 13th century and therefore if you love ancient buildings and church spires than you will definitely love being in Tallinn. If you are in Tallinn you should not miss out on some important locations like the Town Hall which is also known as Raekoda and Kadriorg Palace which are considered to be one of the best architectural designs in Estonia. The Church of Holy Ghost and Dome Church are among the few famous churches in the city. You can enjoy shopping, night life and a lot of shopping here if you have some extra cash with you.

If you move down south from Tallinn you will come to another city called Tartu which is the second biggest city after Tallinn. This city is loaded with lots of places that you can checkout and learn more about their past as well. Some of the buildings here are not that old but you can still find a clash of ancient and modern art in the buildings and art all around. Cathedral Hill is one of the most famous locations that you will find when you are in Tartu. Since Tartu is an educational centre you will also find various universities and museums and libraries around here along with superb gardens and parks around the city.

Narva is another great city that you should not miss out when you are in Estonia. This city is very close to Russia border and it derives its name from the Narva River that flows through the city. When you are in Narva you should definitely checkout one of the biggest freshwater lakes in Europe named Peipus. Many international tourists come here to checkout the castles and lakes make this place look so beautiful. You can easily reach this city through train and bus services available from Tallinn and Tartu.
